Our Imitation Oak Beams are created by a team of expert plasterers led by Adey Higgs. He’s been plastering for over 40 years and discovered he had a talent for the more artistic side of things when he was asked to help produce some imitation oak beams whilst working in the north of England.
Once he realised that it was the perfect way to make use of his expertise with plaster, whilst expressing his artistic tendencies and skills, he set about perfecting the methods and finishes needed to produce something that is almost impossible to tell apart from the real thing.
Now after some time doing this as more of a sideline when asked, we have decided to make these available on a larger scale so that you can benefit from the incredible effects that can be created using these methods.
When he’s not being creative using plaster he spends his time on his other artistic passions of music and cooking.
